Pumpkin Carving with Councillor Woolley & the 4th Annual HallowAfter Lanterns

In just a few short years, a pair of fall events have become neighbourhood favourites: Pumpkin Carving with Councillor Woolley and HallowAfter Lanterns! We’re excited to invite you all to come out and join us for both!

First up, we’re delighted to welcome our Ward 8 Councillor, Evan Woolley back to the gazebo for our annual pumpkin carving event. Like last year, the Bankview Community Association will provide the pumpkins and we’ll welcome you to come carve your pumpkin in the gazebo by the Bankview Community Hall on on Saturday, October 29 at 2:00pm

A few short days later, after your transformed pumpkin stands as your Jack-o-Lantern on Halloween, drop it off in upper Buckmaster Park (by the Community Garden shed) in the afternoon of November 1st for HallowAfter Lanterns in Buckmaster Park later that evening at 6:30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to join in! Come on out for both events – bring your friends, bring the family, bring your own self and meet some new friends. In between the carving and the chatting and the parading you can expect some light refreshments, some great conversation, and a great deal of fun!

Be sure to check our events listing on this site or our page on Facebook (@BankviewCA) for all the details for both events.
