Where is the hall located?

The Bankview Community Hall is located at 2418 17 Street SW.

Which rooms are for rent?

There are two portions of the hall that can be rented out separately. The main hall, which has a capacity of 125 and includes the fully renovated kitchen, or the boardroom which comfortably seats 12.

Is there parking at the community hall?

Yes, free on-street parking is available on streets surrounding the hall.

How big is the main hall space?

The main hall is roughly 1500 square feet, not including washrooms and kitchen. Hall capacity is 125 seated and 200 standing.

How big is the board room?

The board room comes with 12 desk chairs and 6 stacking chairs and has a capacity of 20.

What is included with each space?

Boardroom bookings include 12 new rolling desks chairs around a large board room table. No projector or screen are included with the space but if needed the white walls work well with your own projector. A few stacked chairs are located in the room in case you need to accommodate more than 12 individuals.

Community Hall rentals come with access to our sound system, a fully stocked renovated kitchen with everything you may need. We have recently added stainless steel fridge, oven and microwave appliances. In addition to a fully loaded kitchen we have 25 folding tables and 120 chairs that can be used in whatever way you need. We also have women’s and men’s washrooms that were recently renovated.

How many inputs can be added into the sound system?

There are up to 12 mic inputs into the sound system.

How late can events run in the main hall?

Events can run until midnight with the hall cleared by 1am.

What food prep can be done in the kitchen?

Only reheating foods can be done using the oven.

Can I decorate the hall?

Yes. With tall ceilings, this multifunctional event space transforms itself into anything you may need.

Is there internet?

Yes there is free public wifi in the hall.

Will we have access to washroom facilities?

Yes, with either rental you have access to the washrooms.
