The community of Bankview has a rich history and is filled with historic buildings, some of the best vantage points in the city, public art, charming parks, and incredible people (and their dogs).
The idea was proposed through resident engagement (via the City of Calgary and the This is My Neighbourhood project) to collect and celebrate all that is wonderful about Bankview, map them out graphically, and share them with the community (you!). The map will include landmarks, topography (where my hills at?), and as many others as space allows.
This is where you come in.
We want the map to be as complete as possible. As a resident of Bankview, what are your favourite things (spots, buildings, parks, other) in the neighborhood? What would you include on a map if you could? What would be worth noting from a historical standpoint?
Please consider giving 5 minutes of your time to complete a short survey. The success of the project depends on it. And please, spread the word!
